Configuring an AppServer Internet Adapter<br />

You can view or modify the following configuration properties of an AppServer Internet<br />

Adapter broker from the management console:<br />

• General<br />

• Controlling NameServer<br />

• Logging Setting<br />

• SSL<br />

• Advanced Features<br />

You can also create a new AppServer Internet Adapter instance, delete an instance you no<br />

longer need, or view its log file.<br />

To view or modify AppServer Internet Adapter configuration properties:<br />

1. Click Resources in the management console menu bar. The main resource types appear in<br />

the list frame.<br />

2. In the list frame, exp<strong>and</strong> the <strong>OpenEdge</strong> category.<br />

3. Exp<strong>and</strong> the AppServer Internet Adapter category, <strong>and</strong> select an AppServer Internet<br />

Adapter instance. The Details page for that instance appears in the Detail frame.<br />

4. In the Comm<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> control section of the page, click <strong>Configuration</strong>. The AppServer<br />

Internet Adapter <strong>Configuration</strong> page opens with the General properties in focus.<br />

From this page, you can:<br />

• View a read-only display of the AppServer Internet Adapter instance’s properties, as<br />

described in Table 5–15 through Table 5–19. All of these tables follow this<br />

procedure.<br />

• Click Edit to modify the properties. For details, see the “Editing an AppServer<br />

Internet Adapter configuration” section on page 5–40.
