4.0 Project Description4.1 Host OrganizationThe host project is Entrepreneurship Development Center located in Lagos State, South WestNigeria.Entrepreneurship Development Center Lagos managed by African Leadership Forum (ALF)which is one of the centres established by the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2007 to address risingyouth unemployment.The overriding goal of EDC, Lagos is to contribute to vision 2012 goal of ‗reducing poverty andpromoting employment generation in Nigeria especially among the graduates and non-graduatesschool leavers ' by working through private sector-led initiative to achieve „sustainable growthand improvements in the livelihoods of youths in Nigeria in the next 5 years' (2007).4.2 Project Goal:Through the project intervention, youth will develop interest in entrepreneurship which wouldresults to increased employment, diverse economy, sustainable and better incomes for theiremployees, themselves, and their families.4.3 Project Objectives:This project intervention has the following objectivesTo assist in creating awareness and improvement in youth- run enterprisesthroughentrepreneurship training and other support services which would result to change inattitude and perception in youth entrepreneurship56
