Promoting youth entrepreneurship in Lagos, Nigeria - SNHU ...

This indicator emanated as a result of responses from youth at the end of community needsassessment. Most youth were complaining of lack of information and awareness as well asknowledge on entrepreneurship. This among them was the main reason why youth are notinvolved in entrepreneurship. This resulted in development of some strategies. Awarenessprograms such as seminars, talk shows and workshop were organized. At the end of the project, atotal of 385 youth were sensitized of which 240 were female and 155 were male. And from theEDC Lagos evaluation monitoring tool, a total of 50 youth who participated in the awarenessprogram later came back to participate in the full training.
