Civil works contracts will not beawarded unless required compensation payment has been completed. However,social preparation initiatives including income rehabilitation measures maycontinue and be completed even after civil works has begun.The envisaged SWRP Program is expected to commence in early 2007. Atpresent, the program foresees only one sub-project where a full RAP needs to beprepared, while the other sub-projects will make provisions for (minor)resettlement actions as provided in the respective management plans in theIEEs.Civil works contracts for each sub-project road will only be awarded aftercompletion of all compensation payments and title transfer activities of bothvoluntary and involuntary contribution of land and,For the only new road construction project (Nagma-Gamgadhi) an indicativeschedule for implementing the RAP is shown in the following table, assuming asequential order of proposed activities.
