Environmental and Social Management FrameworkAt this early conception period the most analytic tool are environmental impactchecklists that will allow the EIA team to carry out a comprehensive check of thelikely impacts associated with the proposed projects, and to prepare forappropriate mitigation and monitoring of these impacts at the different stageswhen they occur. To assist the EA practitioners, a checklist already used invarious road construction projects in Nepal, funded by World Bank, is presentedhereunder:Table 2.6: Checklist for Environmental Impact Prediction duringdifferent Project Phases[Abbr.
