Wed 711:10-14:00P5.109Dissipative transport coefficients in non-ideal crystalsFlorian Miserez 11 Universität Konstanz, P. O. Box: 671, 78457, Konstanz, GermanyWe present a microscopic derivation of hydrodynamic-like equations for non-ideal crystals. Localdensity and the lattice displacement are treated in a new way in the framework of linear responseusing Zwanzig-Mori equations. In the long wavelength limit, we are able to retrieve the completephenomenological equations and therefore all the eight slow modes predicted by the phenomenologicaltheory, including the vacancy diffusion mode; this completes a previous calculation withinthe Zwanzig-Mori framework by Szamel [1]. The emphasis is put on the dissipative case, dissipationlessisothermal equations have already been derived previously [2]. Exact formal expressionsfor the solid-state transport coefficients are derived in terms of Green-Kubo integrals. Besides, new microscopic expressions are also derived for susceptibilities, such as specific heat and thermalexpansion coefficient.[1] G. Szamel, J. Stat. Phys. 87, 1067 (1997).[2] C.
