We find that this effect is independenton the number of particles and the distribution for moderate polydispersities (polydispersity isdefined essentially as the variance in size). We also show the effect on the critical structure factor,density correlators, non-ergodic factors and long time mean square displacement (or localizationlength). We show that the lindenman and Hansen-Verlet like criteria for the glass transition arestrongly dependent on the polydispersity of the system. To relatively high polydispersities we findmixed states in which some species are arrested but others are not and we speculate that in thecontext of polydisperse systems this phenomenon is a dynamic heterogeneity.63
