Theinteraction between the particles is modelled. The interfacial stiffness is calculated for the (<strong>10</strong>0)crystal orientation using two independent methods: (1) from the spectrum of capillary waves at theinterface and (2) the interfacial broadening-effect predicted by the capillary wave theory [1, 2]. Acomplete mapping of the interfacial energy as a function of the crystal orientation is obtained fromthe spectrum of height-height correlation of the (<strong>10</strong>0), (1<strong>10</strong>) and (111) orientations.[1] R.
