Recent experiments on Carbon nanotube based membranes have shown excitingresults on this topic, as they demonstrated a giant permeability, three orders of magnitude largerthan expected [1, 2]. This preliminary result, in an uncontrolled system, has been comforted byrecent molecular dynamic simulations. The simulations show that the friction in the nanotubetends to vanish when the tube radius is decreasing [3]. We propose here a model experiment inorder to study liquid transport inside one single nanotube (D=1-10 nm). Set-up fabrication andexperimental results will be presented.[1] Jason K.
