We willpresent several numerical methods to measure the bending rigidity of fluid membranes using ameshless membrane model [1]: The thermal undulations of planar and tubular membranes and theaxial force of tubular membranes. We found a large dependence on the upper-cutoff frequency q cutof the least squares fit in the thermal undulation analysis. The inverse power-spectrum fit with theextrapolation to q cut = 0 gives the smallest estimation error among the investigated methods [2].[1] H. Noguchi and G. Gompper, Phys. Rev.
