XNX Universal Transmitter1.2.1 EnclosureAvailable in either Stainless Steel or Aluminum, with 3/4” NPT (UL/CSAonly) or M25 (ATEX/IECEx only) threaded cable/conduit entries, theXNX Universal Transmitter enclosure is explosion-proof and suitablefor use in -40°C to +65°C (-40°F to +149°F) operating conditions. A5-coat marine finishing process provides the highest degree of corrosionprotection. For more information on performance specifications, seeSection 6 - Specifications.The XNX enclosure is equipped with 5 threaded cable/conduit entriesproviding functional and flexible configurations based on sensor andoption choices. See Figure 1-4 for cable/conduit entry assignmentsand restrictions.Certified stopping plugs are included with the XNX to close the unusedcable/conduit entries. The number of stopping plugs varies dependentupon configuration.CautionThe stopping plugs are for use with the XNX only and should not beused with any other device(s).Mounting lugs integral to the XNX enclosure allow easy installationto a flat surface or 2”-6” (50-150mm) diameter pipe with optional PipeMount Kit or Ceiling Mount Bracket Kit.1.2.2 CoverCoverThe transmitter cover is supplied inTempered Glass Window the identical material as specified forthe enclosure. A tempered glasswindow requires use of the suppliedmagnetic wand/screwdriver toCover Lock Screwactivate the four user interface(requires 2mm hex key - included)switches that are located on the frontof the display module.
