8. MAINTENANCE &TROUBLESHOOTING8.1 MaintenanceRegular maintenance is important to maintainperformance. Check the following pointsmonthly to help maintain performance.• Check that connectors on the rear panelare firmly tightened and free of rust.• Check that the ground system is free ofrust and the ground wire is tightly fastened.• Check that battery terminals are clean andfree of rust.• Check the antenna for damage. Replace ifdamaged.• Dust and dirt on the keyboard and displayscreen may be removed with a soft cloth.Do not use chemical cleaners to clean theequipment; they may remove paint andmarkings.
