5 SCENEGRAPHThe Scenegraph shows all nodes the current scene consists of in a tree structure. Differenticons indicate the node types existing in the scene. Imported files are markedgreen. The basic node, at the same time the top node of each <strong>VR</strong>ED scene, is the Rootnode. The Root node is a group node. The Root group is the top node of each <strong>VR</strong>EDfile and cannot be deleted nor renamed or anyhow edited. All additional nodes mustbe children of the Root node. Use the built-in search field at the top of the scenegraphto find nodes. Regular expressions are supported.» Mouse actions in the Scenegraph» Rename: Left Mouse Click on a selected node to rename the node.» Open node graph: Double Left Mouse Click to enlarge the selected node’s graph.All children of the selected node will be displayed.» Move objects in Scenegraph: Left Mouse Click Drag to move nodes in the Scenegraph.» Isolated view: Left Mouse Click Drag objects from the Scengraph into the Renderviewto view only these objects in the Renderview.
