This is accomplishedthrough collaboration with our alumni, friends and various private foundations.Organizational and Administrative Reporting ChartPrior to December 1995, individuals who had similar responsibilities in other spheres of HealthScience Development had managed the program on a part-time basis. Since January 1996, afull-time director and half-time assistant were assigned to the development office.The Director of Development reports to the Dean of the School of Nursing and also to theAssistant Vice Chancellor for External Affairs. An annual budget allocated from the ExternalAffairs office and School of Nursing supports all nursing development activities.Please refer to diagram 1 for a detailed organizational and reporting chart.242
