Positron Telecommunication Systems Inc. – G-Series Gateways User GuidePBX -> Incoming Call Features -> DISA MenuDirect Inward System Access (DISA) allows users of the PBX to access theircommunications functions from outside.Example: A system-accredited salesperson on the road can place a call to the PBX, andbe given access to analog lines or SIP trunks to make a toll-call to a customer. The callwill be charged to, and bear the custom caller ID specified in the DISA table.DISA ProcedureTo maintain security, the procedure for using DISA is as follows:• A DISA user calls the system, and is directed to the DISAapplication through the incoming call rules, or through the IVR.• User provides the password at the prompt.• System hangs up.• In one minute, the system calls the telephone numberidentified in the Phone Number field of the DISA menu.
