''U1successful'' means that the hijacker attempts to take control <strong>of</strong> the flight but fails(the hijacking may be averted ei'lher in flight or on ground). An "incomplete" hijacking is one Inwhich the hijacker is apprehended/killed during the hijacking or as a result <strong>of</strong> "hot pursuit."Information concerning "incomplete" hijacklngs outside the United States was not presented in theSource.
