Thisallowed Dr Kozhevnikov to set up his research in a stimulatingnew environment in a very good lab with the best equipment,resources and networking opportunities, providing him withlots of ideas that ‘actually then evolved into very good science’.All in all, this proved to be a scientifi cally rewarding and, asDr Kozhevnikov adds, ‘enjoyable’ experience, perhaps not leastbecause the fellowship enabled him to take his family along to theUK with him. ‘No other grant would have made it possible tomove with my family.
