Morethan 600 terms most frequently used in LogisticsInformation Systems were involved in the dictionary.The all definitions were shared among seven categories:• Data processing technologies;• e-Business applications;• Information exchange and security;• Legislation;• Logistics and Logistics Information Systems;• Transportation;• Warehousing and Enterprise management.The aim of the authors was not explanation thelogistics and transportation definitions already involvedin dictionaries assembled by professional associations.Their task was to select and explain the terms related toICTE and the same time to logistics and transportation. Itmeans to describe the set of specific ICTE terms thatappear during introduction and exploiting of complexlogistics and transportation systems.The designing of reference material was based onexploitation of the information gathered during the firststep project, reviewing existing dictionaries provided byprofessional associations and browsing the Internetresources using search engines.The definitions set involved into dictionary wasdetermined by integral criterion. Only definitions givenhighest rate were added.The total set of definitions involved into dictionary isU N GRGR= KD , where KD is the setGR=1KDof terms belonging to the category GR , but N is totalamount of the categories, andMGRGRGRKD = U KDi, where KDiis thei =1GRterm belonging to the set of terms KD . If wesuppose that total amount of references for this termacquired from search engines GR , but weight ofKDiGRthe category GR determined by experts is W ,then KDi GR ∈ KD , if it has⎛GR ⎞max I × W⎜⎝KDGR.
