0041 00-11BidThe Bidder agrees hereby to commence Work under this Contract, with adequate personnel andequipment, on a date to be specified in a written order of the Engineer, and to fully complete allWork under this Contract within the time limits stated in the Contract Agreement. Bidder furtheragrees to pay as liquidated damages the sums as stated in Section 01 10 11 for failure tocomplete the Work within the time limits-stated in Section 01 10 11.The Bidder declares an understanding that the quantities shown for unit price items are subject toeither increase or decrease, and that should the quantities of any of the items of Work beincreased, the Bidder proposes to do the additional Work at the unit prices stated herein; andshould the quantities be decreased, the Bidder also understands that payment will be made onthe basis of actual quantities at the unit price bid and will make no claim for additional costs oranticipated profits for any decrease in quantities; and that actual quantities will be determinedupon completion of Work, at which time adjustment will be made to the Contract amount by directincrease or decrease.In case of discrepancies between the figures shown in the unit prices and the totals, the unitprices shall apply and the totals shall be corrected to agree with the unit prices.
