provisions. During 1983–1990 the series reflect interest paid from the
trust fund to the general fund on advance tax transfers. Finally, the amount
shown for the OASI fund in series Bf446 for 1985 includes an interest adjustment
of $88 million on unnegotiated checks issued prior to April 1985. For
the DI fund in series Bf456, the amount shown for 1985 includes an interest
adjustment of $14.8 million on unnegotiated checks issued before April
1985. In 1987, other receipts from the DI trust fund, series Bf456, include
$195 million in transfers from the DI trust fund to the general fund of the
Treasury to correct estimated amounts transferred for calendar years 1984
and 1985.

for vocational rehabilitation services furnished to disabled persons receiving
benefits because of their disabilities. Beginning in 1983, amounts are reduced
by amount of reimbursement for unnegotiated benefit checks.
Series Bf459. Other expenditures of the DI trust fund include administrative
expenses and transfers to the Railroad Retirement program.
