“theCube (the 3 )”
theCube is een openbaar kunstproject,
dat zowel een sculptuur
als een virtuele galerie is.
De virtuele galerie is verbonden
met theCubes die wereldwijd in
verschillende steden staan. Elk
sculptuur neemt het publiek
mee naar verschillende tentoonstellingen
in de ruimtes van de
virtuele galerie. The(AMBER) 3 ,
de kubus die geplaatst wordt
in de publieke ruimte in Istanbul,
zal het publiek meenemen
naar de AMBER-tentoonstelling.
De (ISSYK-KUL) 3 die geplaatst
is aan het Issyk-Kul meer in de
Kirgizische Republiek neemt het
publiek mee naar de tentoonstelling
in het Bishkek Art Center,
enzovoort. De meewerkende instelling
cureert hun tentoonstelling
in de toegewezen ruimtes
van de virtuele galerie. Deze virtuele
galerie heeft een aangepaste
interface voor de curerende
organisatie met welke de organitheCube

utilizing a smart mobile device.
theCube also moves the gallery
outdoor to the public space.

which is a sculpture as well as
a virtual gallery.
The virtual gallery is also networked
through out theCubes
placed in various location in
different cities on the globe.
Every sculpture takes audience
to the different exhibitions in
the rooms of the virtual gallery.
The(AMBER) 3 which is
theCube that will be placed
in a public space in İstanbul
will take the audience to the
AMBER exhibition, the(ISSYK-
KUL) 3 which is placed by Issyk-
Kul lake in Kyrgyz Republic
as the first installment of the 3
takes the audiences to the
Bishkek Art Center’s exhibition
and so on. The co-operating
institution curates their exhibition
in the dedicated rooms
of the virtual gallery. Virtual
gallery has a custom interface
for the curator organization
through which the organiza-

kullanmaktadır. Kübün

izleyiciyi sanal
galeriye bağlar. theCube
galeriyi sokağa, kamusal
alana taşır, tam anlamıyla
kamusallaştırarak gelip
geçenlere teklifsizce sunar.
Sanal galeri dünyanın
farklı şehirlerine yerleştirilmiş
theCube vasıtası
ile aynı zamanda bir
ağ oluşturur. Her küp
izleyiciyi sanal galerinin
farklı odalarındaki
sergilere götürür. İstanbul’daki

izleyicileri sanal galerinin
AMBER salonlarına,
the(TODAYSART) 3
izleyicileri sanal galerinin
TodaysArt Festivali
salonlarına götürür. Kübün
üretimi ve yerleştirilmesinde
işbirliği yapılan
kurum o kübe bağlı galeri
salonlarının küratörü olur.
Küratörlere sergileri yönetmeleri
için ayrı bir administrator
arayüzü verilir.
