3. Create a new container. In the Containers tab, click the New button. A new container is<br />

created.<br />

4. Then, select a container type; in this case, select Directory, as shown in Figure 3.4.<br />

In our example, since we have specified that the system will manage storage, the only<br />

available container type is Directory.<br />

If you have specified that the database will manage storage, you can select the device<br />

or file container type. However, if you have selected automatic storage, you do not<br />

need to define containers. In this case, you need to define the Initial size, Increase<br />

size, and the Maximum size under the Size tab. Initial size will be allocated at the time<br />

of creation and will be increased by increase size whenever more storage memory is<br />

required until the time maximum size limit is reached.<br />

5. Optionally, you can move the tables stored in other table spaces to this new table<br />

space, by selecting the table names in the Tables tab as shown in Figure 3.5 below.<br />

For this example, do not move any tables.
