The IP address or host name of the system where the <strong>DB2</strong><br />

server is installed. You can uselocalhost <strong>for</strong> a database on<br />

the local machine.<br />

The port number where the instance is listening. By default,<br />

<strong>DB2</strong> instances use port 50000.<br />

The name of the instance where the database will reside. The<br />

default instance is<strong>DB2</strong>.<br />

The version of <strong>DB2</strong> installed <strong>for</strong> this instance<br />

The user ID that will be used to create the database<br />

The password of the specified user<br />
