For the purposes of this book you will install <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> web console on your local<br />

computer. In a production environment you would install the <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> web console on a<br />

dedicated computer.<br />

1.5.1 Installation overview and first steps<br />

In the subsequent sections, you will learn how to install the web console. This chapter<br />

describes the installation <strong>for</strong> single user access to the <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> web console using the<br />

default administrative user ID that you create during the installation. To learn more<br />

advanced topics such as integrating the <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> web console <strong>with</strong> <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> full<br />

client and running the <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> web console in multi-user mode, see Appendix B.<br />
