A window opens that lets you specify whether you want to commit the changes to the<br />

database and capture database per<strong>for</strong>mance statistics. Accept the defaults and click OK.<br />

When you capture database per<strong>for</strong>mance statistics, the statistics appear in the SQL<br />

Results view.<br />

When testing your UDF, you can create routine test configurations. Test configurations<br />

contain settings that are used when you run the UDF. The routine test configurations can<br />

help test routines and validate changes you make to a routine.<br />

You can create multiple test configurations that pass different input values to test different<br />

portions of a routine. When you run a routine <strong>with</strong> a test configuration, you can compare<br />

the result output and output parameter values <strong>with</strong> a predefined set of values. The results<br />

of the comparison appear in the SQL Results view.<br />

9.5 View the output<br />

The SQL Results view shows the status of running your UDF. The Status column of this<br />

view indicates success or failure of the operation. The Operation column shows the<br />

command type or the actual command itself. The Status tab on the right shows detailed
