When you are logged in to <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> web console, you will see the Task Launcher page,<br />

which lists a number of key tasks and getting-started tasks as shown in Figure 1.30.<br />

The Task Launcher shows you the most common <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> web console tasks, such as<br />

the following tasks:<br />

• Add database connections: Be<strong>for</strong>e you can do most tasks in the web console, you<br />

must have a connection to the database.<br />

• View health summary: View a summary of health alerts and indicators by severity and<br />

time <strong>for</strong> all of your databases.<br />

• View alerts: View and respond to alerts <strong>for</strong> your databases.<br />

• Manage database jobs: Create jobs and schedule them to run on your databases.<br />

View status details <strong>for</strong> jobs.<br />
