2. A new editor opens. In the Roll-<strong>for</strong>ward Type tab, you can select if you want to apply all<br />

the logs or up to a specific point in time. This is shown in Figure 3.37.<br />

3. In the Roll-<strong>for</strong>ward Scope tab, you can select if you want to roll <strong>for</strong>ward the complete<br />

database or just a particular table space. However, if you restored an entire database<br />

be<strong>for</strong>e, you will not see the option to roll <strong>for</strong>ward selective table spaces.<br />

4. In the Roll-<strong>for</strong>ward Final State tab, you can select if you want to complete the roll<br />

<strong>for</strong>ward operation or want the database to remain in roll <strong>for</strong>ward pending state. If you<br />

decide to leave the database in the roll <strong>for</strong>ward pending state, you can complete the<br />

roll <strong>for</strong>ward at a later point in time by right-clicking the database and selecting Back Up<br />

and Restore -> Complete Roll Forward. For this example, select the option to complete<br />

the roll <strong>for</strong>ward operation, as shown in Figure 3.38.
