5. Click Finish. You have successfully added the WebSphere Application Server<br />

Community Edition instance to your <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong>, and the server definition is also listed<br />

in the Servers view, as shown Figure 10.8.<br />

10.4 Create a data development project<br />

After all the preparation is done you can start creating your first web service. All you need<br />

is an active connection to your <strong>DB2</strong> instance and a data development project based on that<br />

connection.<br />

Using the instructions shown in Chapter 2, connect to theGSDB sample database and<br />

create a new data development project calledWebServices. We will be using tables and<br />

stored procedures from theGSDB database to create a new data web service.<br />

Figure 10.9 shows the new data development project and the connection to theGSDB<br />

sample database.<br />
