2. Specify a workspace name. We use the name <strong>Getting</strong><strong>Started</strong> <strong>for</strong> our workspace. An<br />

example of this is shown in Figure 1.14.<br />

Note:<br />

A workspace is a location <strong>for</strong> saving all your work, customizations, and<br />

preferences. Your work and other changes in one workspace are not visible if<br />

you open a different workspace. The workspace concept comes from Eclipse.<br />

The <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> workbench opens. You see the default <strong>Data</strong>base Administration<br />

perspective, including the Task Launcher, as shown in Figure 1.15.
