Here are the descriptions of the fields shown in Figure 5.5:<br />

• The Default schema setting is used to set the databaseCURRENT SCHEMA register<br />

when deploying and running database artifacts like SQL scripts, stored procedures,<br />

and user-defined functions. TheCURRENT SCHEMA register is used to resolve<br />

unqualified database object references.<br />

• The Default path setting is used to set the databaseCURRENT PATH register when<br />

deploying and running database artifacts. TheCURRENT PATH register is used to<br />

resolve unqualified function names, procedure names, data type names, global<br />

variable names, and module object names in dynamically prepared SQL statements.<br />

Note:<br />

The application process settings that are available in this wizard depend on the<br />

database server you are connecting to. The example shown lists the settings available<br />

<strong>for</strong> <strong>DB2</strong> servers.
