Installation Manager begins the installation. There may be a pause in the progress bar at<br />

some point; be sure to wait and not interrupt the processing. When the product<br />

successfully installs, you see the screen shown in Figure 1.13.<br />

12. Click Finish to close Installation Manager.<br />

Now that you have installed <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong>, you should open the product and create a<br />

workspace.<br />

To start <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> <strong>for</strong> the first time:<br />

1. Open <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong>:<br />

Windows: Open the workbench from the Start menu: Start > All Programs > <strong>IBM</strong><br />

<strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> > <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> 3.1.1 Full Client.<br />

Linux:installation_directory/eclipse (where installation directory is the<br />

directory where you installed <strong>Data</strong> <strong>Studio</strong>).
