2. Enter the name of the table in the General tab. We usedMYTABLE in this example.<br />

3. Use the Columns tab to define the columns <strong>for</strong> this table. Click the New icon ( ) to<br />

create a new column. This step is shown in Figure 2.15.<br />

4. Fill in the details <strong>for</strong> the column (you may need to resize the object editor window to<br />

see all the fields). In the example shown in Figure 2.15, we have added three<br />

columns:<br />

EMP_NAME, which uses the VARCHAR(248) data type<br />

<br />

<br />

EMP_ID, the primary key, which uses the CHAR(5) data type<br />

ADDRESS, which uses the XML data type<br />

Table 2.2 below describes each of the fields.<br />
