Na produ leži rosna deklica,<br />
zaljubljena v morje.<br />
Plima ji spleta lase kodrolase,<br />
na rosno telo odlagajo pene<br />
tisoč belih poljubov.<br />
In rakci grizljajo njen vrat<br />
in obraz<br />
in orjejo s kleščami v trebuh<br />
za seme modrine,<br />
za barvo velikega morja.<br />
SEA EMBRACE<br />
On the sea gravel lies a dewy girl,<br />
In love with the sea.<br />
The tide is braiding her curly hair.<br />
Laying down foams on her dewy body,<br />
A thousand white kisses.<br />
And the crabs nibble at her neck<br />
And her face<br />
And they plow her stomach with their claws<br />
For the seed of the blue<br />
For the colour of the vast sea.<br />
