POWER NAVIGATOR
DISPLAY PARAMETERS
Meter can be programmed to display maximum 55 parameters that include P�, per phase RMS voltages and currents, �requency,
phase sequence, kW, kVA, kVAr, kWH, kVAH, kVArh+, kVArh-, Mda’, Rising demand with elapsed time, high resolution energies,
etc..
DISPLAY MODES
Three display modes - Mode 1, Mode 2 and Mode 3 are available.
BILLING REGISTERS
8 Billing registers are available for recording 8 type of energies - kWH, kVAh, kVArh+, kVArh- (both forward / reverse). The last
4 reading of all reset energies can be accessed for record / analysis.
MAXIMUM DEMAND (MD) REGISTERS
3 MDs out of 8 energy types can be selected and programmed for separate integration period changing from 1 minute to 60
minutes. All MDs can be configured for Block / Sliding window method. Reset MD (4 readings) and cumulative MD are also
available.
CONTROL KEYS
4 control keys and one recessed key are located on the front panel of the meter. in manual scrolling mode, various display
parameters can be displayed using the up and down keys. Using all keys, meter can be easily programmed (password protected).
RESET
Meter can be configured for one of the rest modes such as Manual reset, Auto monthly reset, Auto daily reset. 4 reset backups
are provided.
LED PULSE OUTPUT
POWER NAVIGATOR incorporates two LEDs on the front panel of the meter for accuracy check of kWh and kVArh.
COMMUNICATION INTER�ACE
POWER NAVIGATOR incorporates RS485 port at the back. The MODBUS protocol helps user to design his own software to
integrate these meters with his existing network using same protocol. A detail memory map for the meter is included in the
operating manual. Also, a user friendly demo software ‘Navigator’ can be provided. This software designed at Mysore works,
enables user to access on-line information from various Power Navigators on central computer using RS485-232 converter.
