Ripac metric is based on the metric system dimensions to IEC 917. The dimensions for enclosures, subracks
and assemblies are prescribed in DIN 43 356 and are comprised of 0.5 mm / 2.5 and 25 mm modules. Thanks to
metric assembly in all three dimensions, Ripac offers optimum CAE conditions, from the design stage right
through to production.
Card ejectors/retainers help to overcome the high contact forces in rack connectors with a large number of poles,
and also ensure vibration-proof locking of the assembly. The card guides/mats are fixed in place by a special
positioning rail
Effective shielding of interference signals Available in three heights (8, 12, 18 H-SU) and two depths
(7, 10 D-SU) Complete with mounting and accessory parts

The die-cast zinc side parts ensure optmum stability, and can also withstand extreme static and dynamic stresses.
The particular configuration of the side panels also facilitates the use of special telescopic sides without the loss
of HP. What is more, the wide range of accessories offers comprehensive mounting flexibility.

Where a variety of types are required in terms of height and depth, coupled with mounting variability, Rittal
Varioset iS with aluminium side panels meets even the most diverse requirements. The separate mounting angle
may be mounted at both the front or rear, for mounting plate assembly. The iS range of accessories can also be
used for this system.
