Futuristic technology demands the very best concepts. The Rittal flexRack meets all the requirements of a modern
network enclosure, thanks to its outstanding flexibility.
This is achieved by the multi-functional aluminium section with two pairs of infinitely variable mounting angles,
combined with special clip-on nuts.
The typical 800 mm wide network distribution enclosure is fitted as standard with 482.6 mm (19") mounting
angles (distance from front 150 mm), a glazed door at the rear.

As well as protecting hardware and software from external factors, the server enclosure must also ensure adequate
ventilation of the installed equipment to allow problem-free, continuous operation of the servers.
Rittal satisfies both these requirements: the glazed front door with vent slots and a slotted rear door of sheet steel
facilitate a high air throughput, whilst security locks on both doors protect against unauthorised access.
In the attractive flexRack design, the 900 mm deep enclosures will accommodate virtually all commercially available
482.6 mm (19") servers. Additional components or desktop servers can be accommodated on component shelves.
The mobile base on lockable castors is extended forward for servicing. The larger support area prevents it from
tipping over when heavy installed equipment is pulled out.
