Comprehensive <strong>Development</strong> Scheme Laganbank Quarter (LBQ) Lisburn<br />

The LBQ <strong>Development</strong> Scheme recognises that Laganbank Quarter is is an<br />

important area in in regeneration terms particularly as as a a key development<br />

opportunity area. It It is is the gateway into the City Centre connecting it it to<br />

to<br />

communities south and east of of the River Lagan. The key regeneration<br />

principles are to:<br />

• • Provide modern, flexible office space to to strengthen the city’s office<br />

accommodation offering<br />

• • Enhancing Lisburn City Centre as as a a major employment and<br />

commercial centre, by by increasing the quantity and quality of of office<br />

accommodation.<br />

West Lisburn <strong>Development</strong> Framework<br />

The WLDF identifies small footprint uses such as as office scale and uses that<br />

fall fall within classes B, B, B1a, and C C (office, call centres & light industry) as<br />

as<br />

suitable uses to to be be incorporated into West Lisburn particularly located at<br />

at<br />

the Employment Land at at Blaris (see Map 22).<br />
