Krodhaṁ jahe, viprajaheya mānaṁ,<br />

One should abandon anger, one should abandon conceit,<br />

saṁyojanaṁ sabbam atikrameyā,<br />

one should overcome every fetter,<br />

taṁ nāmarūpamhi asajjamānaṁ,<br />

without clinging to mind and bodily form,<br />

akiñcanaṁ nānupatanti dukkhā.<br />

sufferings never do befall the one having no possessions.<br />

Kodhaṁ jahe, vippajaheyya mānaṁ,<br />

One should abandon anger, one should abandon conceit,<br />
