Prices<br />
Prices in the catalog are net prices and are valid ex<br />
nursery plus delivery charges and value-added tax.<br />
The catalog is valid for the season starting 1st July<br />
to 30th June. For bulk purchases, please enquire<br />
for special prices.<br />
Value added tax (VAT)<br />
We charge the regular VAT (currently 7%). VAT will<br />
not be charged for exports when the certification<br />
of exportation is available. For deliveries within the<br />
EU VAT will also not be charged if you provide your<br />
valid sales tax identification number.<br />

Minimum purchase<br />
corresponds to a packaging unit, meaning corresponding<br />
to at least the content of a bundle, a<br />
carton or a crate.<br />
Potted plants<br />
can be delivered the whole year round. Plants<br />
delivered will be with sufficient moisture, mostly<br />
in standing position in specially folding cartons or<br />
in exchangeable crates of synthetic materials (25<br />
items per crate). The root balls should be well-watered<br />
before planting out.<br />
Bare root liners<br />
are stored in the coolhouse, in order to lengthen the<br />
planting period. They are dispatched with sufficient<br />
moisture and are packed with the proper care and<br />
attention. They should be watered thoroughly before<br />
planting out.<br />
Measure of length<br />
We are able to achieve much better and more compact<br />
liners of many cultures through proper and<br />
selective pruning. As a result, lengths may not be<br />
always indicated.<br />
Plant breeder‘s rights ® or ¥<br />
The propagation of cultivars enjoying breeder‘s<br />
rights ¥ and use of trade marks ® is forbidden. If<br />
you intend to propagate such plants under licence,<br />
you will need to satisfy certain stipulated regulations.<br />
Labels for protected cultivars<br />
Some protected cultivars can strictly be further sold<br />
with their original labels (photo labels). These labels<br />
will be provided free upon delivery. Licensees<br />
will receive them at cost price.<br />
Plant evaluation<br />
All up-to-date results of the Federal Office of Evaluation<br />
(„Bundessortenamt Hannover“) and the<br />
German Nurserymen‘s Association („Bund deutscher<br />
Baumschulen“) are included in the detailed<br />
description of the plants.<br />
Delivery<br />
is done almost entirely through commercial freight<br />
forwarder, and we will search the best and most favourable<br />
one for you. Orders taking up more than<br />
2 meters space in trucks will be generally delivered<br />
within 48 hours of leaving the nursery without reloading<br />
and for deliveries within Germany. Goods<br />
packaged as single items will take about 3 days to<br />
arrive within Germany. Please refer to the freight<br />
charges at the end of this catalog.<br />
Collection and delivery dates<br />
Please inform us at least a week in advance for orders<br />
on request.<br />
Exports<br />
Will be delivered with their respective protected<br />
certification and all necessary customs clearance<br />
papers.<br />
Delivery packaging<br />
Crates and cartons will be placed on Euro-pallets.<br />
We will also pack in CC-containers for you upon<br />
request.
