growing wide and upright, 2 to 3 m tall; young shoots are<br />

yellow, about 4 to 6 cm long and 5 to 7 cm wide with long stalks;<br />
a striking cultivar due to its yellow foliage (rather yellowish-green<br />
in sheltered areas) and the amazing contrast it provides with its<br />
autumn colours (yellow to pink to red and magenta); especially<br />
attractive when combined with red-leaved cultivars; also used<br />
