with branching and upright growth. Leaves oval, light to mid<br />
green, with a rough feel above; up to 30 cm long flowers, undergoing<br />
a colour change from creamy white to pink to dark red<br />
from end July to November. A striking and lovely flowering shrub,<br />
especially due to its interesting colour change. Used as a specimen,<br />
for group and mass planting, loose hedges and also in floristics.<br />

____ Up to 2-3 m high, upright growing, good branched shrub with<br />
strong shoots which are not lay down because of the weight<br />
of the flowers which are on 20 – 30 cm long, cone-shaped<br />
florescence’s already in beginning of July. At first they are white,<br />
than turning into pink, dark pink and later into wine red. Their<br />
coloration starts very early and is long running; furthermore they<br />
smell nice like honey. A new top variety bred by WIM RUTTEN<br />
with high market potentials because of the smelling flowers, intensive<br />

____ An upright-growing shrub with few branches, up to 3 m tall; the<br />
striking, stout, young shoots are covered with rosy red bristles<br />
and hairs, giving a mossy appearance; leaves up to 25 cm long,<br />
downy, red at shoot break, later velvety dark green, light and<br />
very felty underneath; flowers produced in July and August in<br />
a terminal, flattish corymb 20 cm across, with whitish, sterile<br />
ray flowers, confined to the outside, fertile flowers soft violet - a<br />
wonderful, summer-flowering specimen shrub with large inflorescence.<br />
