with a broad, upright growing habit, and weakly thorned; leaves<br />

dark green with a tinge of silver -A pollinator for Hergo and Leikora.<br />

The proper arrangement of ´Pollmix 1´ and ´Pollmix 3´ is to<br />

____ Male cultivar; medium fast growing with upright growing habit;<br />

sturdy branches are almost thornless; leaves are striking slender<br />

lanceolated, dark green above and silver green below; flowering<br />

period is March to April; seedling offspring from Leikora, brought<br />

into trade in 1989 by H.-J. Albrecht, Berlin. A pollinator for Hergo<br />

and Leikora. The proper arrangement of pollinators is recommended<br />

____ A rather robust cultivar with columnar growing habit, only slightly<br />

thorny, and few root runners; hybrid by H.-J. ALBRECHT, Berlin,<br />

originating out of a cross between a Siberian cultivar and H. r.<br />

Pollmix; fruits large (100 fruits = 52 g), longish oval to cylindrical,<br />

silver-grey scales found only at the tip, red-orange, pleasantly<br />

sweet, fruit stalks rather long, allowing easy picking, ripening<br />

end July to early August. A cultivar that is highly recommended<br />

for private gardens due to its fruit colours, pleasant taste and<br />

early ripeness. D, H, St. Zone 4. Under federal protection SAN<br />
