foliage and young shoots striking golden coloured - a
remarkably lovely conifer, sufficiently hardy, as specimen or for
hedges; a Silver Medallion Award winner at the Flora-Nova, Boskoop,
1976. H, S. Zone 7a.
leylandii ´Gold Rider´ -
____ A sport out of x C. leylandii with slender, conical growth and very
lovely, striking foliage; surpasses the cultivars ´Castlewellan
Gold´, ´Mellow Yellow´ as well as ´Robinson´s Gold´ in colour -
the best amongst the golden cultivars. H, S. Zone 7a.
