hispida ´Macrophylla´ -<br />
____ An upright, loosely-branched, up to 3 m tall shrub; shoots slightly<br />
hairy and less fragile than the species; leaves pinnate, up to 15<br />
cm long, dark green above; flowers crimson to pink appearing in<br />
May/June in bristly, hairy racemes, often continuously flowering<br />
till September - an extraordinary, lovely flowering shrub, that is<br />
for example very suitable to allow to grow near house walls. S,<br />

pseudoacacia - Acacia, Black Locust, Robinia<br />
____ Up to 25 m tall tree with irregularly branched, lighted crown, very<br />
thorny branches and deeply furrowed but decorative bark; leaves<br />

flowers very fragrant, white, borne in June in hanging racemes<br />
- a picturesque park tree, an excellent honey-producing plant,<br />
