2 to 2.5 cm long: leaves 3- to 7-lobed, deeply cut; flowers white<br />

appearing in May/June; fruits oval to round, rather changeable,<br />

pea-size - an undemanding plant for primary vegetation, builds<br />

an impenetrable hedgerow, serves well as wind protector, for<br />

greenery and for stabilising debris grounds, or sandy and loamy<br />

soils, nesting sites for small animals, also suitable as honeyproducing<br />

plant or for bird protection. H, R, St. Zone 3.<br />
