____ A dense and much-branched, fast-growing shrub, reaching<br />

man´s height, with numerous, bright yellow berries - a very healthy,<br />

hardy cultivar that bears fruit early and in abundance, with<br />

an extensive range of uses; was awarded „Very Good“ during<br />

the federal cultivar trials in Germany in 1985. D, H, K, R, St.<br />

´Orange Charmer´ (coccinea x rogersiana) -<br />

____ A fast, tightly upright-growing cultivar with glossy dark green,<br />

cultivar; was awarded „Very Good „ during the federal cultivar<br />

trials in Germany in 1985. D, H, K, R, St. Zone 6b.<br />

____ An evergreen, up to 3.5 cm tall, loosely-branched, slenderly upright-growing<br />

shrub with healthy, scab-resistant foliage; shoots<br />

are covered lengthwise with bundels of small, orange-red fruits,<br />

remaining through the winter - one of the most important cultivars<br />

at the moment; was awarded „Good“ during the federal<br />

cultivar trials in Germany in 1985. D, H, K, R, St. Zone 6b.<br />

´Red Cushion´ -<br />

____ A ground cover with a bushy-growing habit, 60 to 90 cm tall;<br />

leaves shiny dark green; fruits medium-large, orange-red - originates<br />

´Teton´ (´Orange Glow´ x rogersiana ´Flava´) -<br />

____ A new, upright-growing, hardy cultivar, resistant to fire blight and<br />

scab, with tight and erect main branches, and more or less horizontally<br />

growing side shoots, reaching about 4 m tall and 3 m<br />

wide after <strong>12</strong> years; leaves lanceolate to elliptic, up to 4.5 cm<br />

long and 1.5 cm wide, yellowish-green above and green underneath;<br />

very free-flowering, inflorescence consisting of 20 to 35<br />

flowers, appearing in May; fruits yellowish-red, 5 to 7 mm long,<br />

up to 30 in a cluster, ripening from mid-October and hanging<br />

through the winter - due to its erect growing habit, suitable for<br />

free-growing or clipped hedges. D, H, K, R, S, St. Zone 7a.<br />
