____ A tree up to 40 m tall in its natural habitat (in our climate around<br />

7 to 15 m tall on unexposed, frost-free areas); tree crown oval<br />

to pyramidal. Leaves mostly 3-lobed, turning orange, red or magenta<br />

in autumn. This is considered one of the most stunning<br />

plant due to its autumn colours. R, S. Zone 7a.<br />

____ A deciduous tree, 20 to 30 m tall, slow-growing when young, having<br />

a broad, round crown when older; shoots have corky wings;<br />

tulip-like, up to 6 cm across - a very lovely tree for parks on<br />
