the ground with the aid of its underground suckers; leaves
small, leathery, glossy green; flowers bell-shaped, white to rosa,
borne in small, terminal racemes; fruits bright red, pea-size, sour
- a cultivar with high yields; excellent as ground cover for sandy,
humus-rich, acidic soils. B, Z. Zone 4.
