____ A tree-like, up to 15 m tall shrub with horizontal growing sprigs
arranged distinctly pagoda-like; flowers borne in 10 to 15 cm
wide, white umbels; fruits dark blue, about 6 mm thick - a decorative
specimen plant. S. Zone 7a.
controversa ´Variegata´ - Giant Dogwood ´Variegata´
____ Differs from the species in its slower growth and the white-edged
leaves - a very lively, valuable specimen plant for protected
sites. S. Zone 7a.
florida - Eastern Flowering Dogwood, White Dogwood

habit; leaves egg-shaped with a magnificent scarlet red autumn
