…a merge în pădure, a te detaşa de tot. Retragerea în pădure este aici ridicată la rangul imperativ de nesupunere civilă. Cel care se<br />
plimbă prin pădure este partizanul, artistul, barbarul, teroristul. Termenul trasează o paralelă între activitatea artistică şi practica<br />
politică. A înţelege arta ca refugiu în pădure înseamnă a o defini ca avangardă. Ideologia teleologică a avangardei a fost o doctrină<br />
a retragerii în pădure. Cel care se retrage în pădure este liber şi independent; calea lui este una a rezistenţei. Este un maestru al<br />
camuflajului care îşi poate schimba înfăţişarea după plac. Devine invizibil şi îşi induce inamicii în eroare.<br />

... to go into the forest; to detach oneself from everything. Retreat into the forest is here elevated to an imperative title for<br />
civil disobedience. The walker in the forest is a synonym for partisan, artist, barbarian, terrorist. The parallels between artistic<br />
activity and political practice are outlined by this term. To understand art as retreat into the forest also means to define it<br />
as vanguard. The teleological ideology of the avant-garde was a doctrine of the retreat into the forest.<br />
He who retreats into the forest is free and independent; his path is one of resistance. He is a master of camouflage who can<br />
change his appearance at will. He becomes invisible and misleads his enemies.<br />
